About Froelich Park
Today Froelich Park is - 29 acres providing to the community the following
Open Green Space
Used for family picnics, pickup games, the annual Fireworks show, and Mountville Days Carnival. Green Space on the south side of the creek is used for open green space and overflow parking for events.
Multiple-sized baseball fields with scoreboards, lights, and bleachers. Used by ≈130 baseball players in the MYAA organization. Also used by Schreiber's Pediatric Center for their annual weekend fundraising softball tournament.
BaseBall Fields
The football field complete with scoreboard, lights, and bleachers is the Home Field for the MYAA and their approx. 150 football players and 90 cheerleaders.
Football Field
A paved one-mile walking path including resting benches located along the path. Open to all members of the community.
Several small picnic table-size pavilions. Multiple people stop by the park during their lunch to use the tables or even picnic in the grass.
The Pool at Froelich Park is open to the public Memorial Day-Labor Day. We offer daily walk-in rates as well as season passes.
